Résumé/Citation: Provides for the establishment of Committees of Inquiry in organizations, as defined in the Act, 30 days following the coming into force of this Act. Sets out the procedures for dealing with complaints by the Inquiry Committee. Following its inquiry into the complaint, the Committee can the make recommendations to the competent authority including recommendations concerning the penalties that should be imposed. Appeals against decisions are to be heard by the Ombudsman. Also sets out the responsibilities of the employers in case of a complaint. The Schedule sets out the Code of Conduct for the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace.
