Résumé/Citation: This is an Act to provide for the employment of disabled persons or, in the alternative, a contribution to a Trust Fund from employers. Sections 3 and 4 provide for the establishment and functions of the Employment of Disabled Persons Board. Sections 5 and 6 concern the establishment by the Minister, and functions of, a register of disabled persons. Section 7 provides that "Every employer shall apply to have his name entered in the register of employers ..." By s.8, " ... every employer shall be under a duty to employ such number of persons as is specified in the Schedule or to make such contributions to the Trust fund as he may be required to make". Section 13 provides for penalties.
