| Résumé/Citation: | Provides the conditions that need to be fulfilled in order to issue a work permit to an employer. It is to be filed with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) by the employer. Gives particulars as to the validity of the permits (in general two years), conditions that the employer has to observe in order to employ a foreign worker as well as the duties of foreign workers and the cancellation of a permit. Repeals the Resolution No. 71 of 2007 concerning work permits for Government employed foreigners. |
