Second Region

Prescribes the minimum wages in the following sectors:
A. Clothing, textile and leather manufacturing sector
B. Construction sector
C. Wholesale sector
D. Retail sector (Other than small business)
E. Hospitality sector
F. Service sector (security, funeral parlor, cleaning services, transport sector)
G. Small business
H. Domestic worker
I. General Minimum Wage (M812.00 per month if employed for less than 12 months and M844.00 if employee has worked for 12 months or more)

Item 5 provides that workers in the clothing, textile and leather manufacturing sector are entitled to 2 weeks paid maternity leave (employees who have worked for less than 12 months) or 6 weeks (employees with more than 12 months service). The benefit is limited to two confinements per employee.
