Abstract/Citation
Prescribes the minimum wages in the following sectors:
A. Clothing, textile and leather manufacturing sector
B. Construction sector
C. Wholesale sector
D. Retail sector
E. Hospitality sector
F. Service sector
G. Transport sector
H. Small business
I. Domestic worker
J. General Minimum Wage (M755.00 per month if employed for less than 12 months and M767.00 if employee has worked for 12 months or more)
Also sets out the conditions of employment for workers in the clothing, textile and leather manufacturing sector with respect to entitlement to paid maternity leave. For employees who have worked for less than 12 months, they are entitled to 2 weeks paid leave and for workers with more than 12 months service, they are entitled to 6 weeks paid leave. The benefit is limited to two confinements per employee (item 4).
