Résumé/Citation: |
Provides that a person under the age of 16 shall not be admitted to employment. Amends the Factories Ordinance (section 3) and the Children's Act (section 2) in accordance with this Act. Also amends the Children's Act with respect to: section 91 concerning restrictions on employment of a child under the age of 16 years; section 92 concerning keeping of a register by employers for persons under the age of 18 years; repealing section 93; amending section 94 concerning liability of parents and employers; section 95 by deleting the word "twelve" and substituting the word "sixteen"; and section 96 concerning Penalties. Also amends the Recruiting of Workers Act by repealing section 5 and section 108(1) of the Shipping Act. |
