When organising the hours of work, the employer is to take into account the type of work as well as health and safety requirements, and let the employees know of the work schedule 7 days beforehand. The employee can work 12 hours a day and 48 hours a week, and the employee on emergency duty can work 24 hours a day and 72 hours a week maximum. He is entitled to 11 consecutive hours of rest between workdays, and to periodic breaks considering the number of hours he works. |
