| Résumé/Citation: | Makes various amendments to the principal Act including amendment of the long title (section 1), definitions (section 2). Makes several terminology changes such as changing work permit to work pass (sections 3, 5 and 6) and foreign worker is now referred to as foreign employee (sections 5, 8). A new section 7 is inserted concerning application for work passes. Section 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 25, 27 and 29 are also amended and a new Schedule concerning personal identifiers is inserted after section 30 of the Act. |
