Amends, i.a., ch. 2, s. 5 (limited residence permit for purposes of criminal investigation), ch. 6, s. 19 (detention) and ch. 10, ss. 1 to 7 (penalties for stay in country without permit, human trafficking etc.); inserts new ss. 4a and 5c in ch. 2 (limited residence permit), s. 3a in ch. 7 (right to appeal, but not for alien, against refusal of limited residence permit), and ss. 1a and 1b in ch. 10 (penalties for work without permit and for unlawfully passing external border according to the Schengen Convention).
