| Résumé/Citation: | Prohibits discrimination in education, including: - depriving any person access to education of any type or at any level; - limiting any person to education of an inferior standard; - establishing or maintaining separate educational systems or institutions for persons; or - inflicting on any person conditions which are incompatible with the dignity of man. Obliges States Parties to develop and apply a national policy that will promote equality of opportunity and of treatment in the matter of education. |
