Second Region

Made under Children (Care and Protection) Act 1987. Replaces, without changes in substance, Children (Care and Protection - Child Employment) Regulation 1993. Provides for the following matters: deeming of certain relationships as employment relationships under Section 50 of the Act; prescription of still photographic sessions as a kind of employment for which an employer's authority is required under Section 52 of the Act; exemption of certain persons from requirement to hold employer's authority; fees to be paid in connection with application for employer's authority or for exemption from requirement to hold employer's authority; and conditions that are to apply to granting of employer's authority.
