Abstract/Citation

Pursues the aim of establishing and maintaining equal status and opportunity for women and men. Section II provides for establishment of Equal Status Bureau, and regulates its functions and procedures. Section III makes provision for right to equal pay, and equal treatment of women and men on the labour market. Also sets forth prohibition of sexual harassment, and discrimination on the basis of sex (regarding terms of employment, working conditions, dismissal and education). Sections V and IV provide for sanctions and some related matters.
