Section 198 sets forth obligation of convicts and remand prisoners to work in the institution in which they have been placed. Determines which regulations apply to prison work. Provides for the setting up of work teams in areas such as agriculture, fishing, mining, construction, and forestry. Establishes obligation of public institutions to employ convicts in their respective field of work. Convicts in low-security and medium-security prisons, as well as convicts in maximum-security prisons who have demonstrated good conduct for at at least one-fourth of their term, shall take part in work in teams.
