Second Region

Amends Protection of Employment Act 1977. Provides for the representation of, and consultation with, employees in the absence of a trade union, staff association or excepted body. Also provides for the right of complaint to a rights commissioner where an employer contravenes section 9 or 10 (information and consultation of employees), and provides for increases in the levels of fines for offences.
