Second Region

Makes regulations governing the payment of social security contibutions. Makes exemptions from liability to pay contributions in certain circumstances. Maintains the liability of an employer to make contributions with respect to employees on leave. Provides for the disposal of contribution improperly paid and for the return of contributions paid in error. Treats any contribution which is late or unpaid and is not the result of the employee as paid for the purposes of a worker's right to benefits. Provides for contributions which are unpaid because of ignorance and error. Makes regulations governing sickness, maternity, disability, old age and funeral grant benefits in cases of unpaid contribution. Provides for the refund of contributions to certain elderly entrants.
