Decree of 28 July 1999 to amend the Decree on the General Legal Status of the Police (Stb.1994, No.214, amended on 1999-04-10, Stb. No.189) and the Decree on Police Salaries (Stb. 1994, No.215, amended on 1998-06-19, Stb. Abstract/Citation

On 1 January 1998 the first phase of the Law on Civil Servants under Workers Insurances entered into force (Stb. 1997, No.768). This provided for the classification of civil servants under the Incapacity Insurance Act. To this end the above-mentioned Decrees were amended. A civil servant may be forced to undergo a medical examination, after which he or she can ask for a second exam in case of disagreement. Further amendments concern the possibility of re-locating a civil servant, the possibility of granting a supplementary payment, and benefits in the case of death of a police officer.
