Second Region

Contains the full text of the above-mentioned law. The first chapter deals with the Social Economic Council. Heading I concerns its objective, which is to promote the business sector and to defend its interests. The Council can provide advice upon a written request or on its own accord on the implementation of this law and on other matters of social or economic relevance. For this purpose it may establish commissions. The second chapter deals with industrial bodies, which are public bodies formed between enterprises. The task of these bodies is the promotion of the activities of enterprises. They may make regulations on: registration of enterprises and personnel; matters related to goods and services; the promotion of professional management; salaries and working conditions; research on social, economic, and technical matters; labour market matters, and funding.
