Second Region

Sets the procedures for disputes to be heard in industrial courts. Establishes a Court Register to record the names of the parties of a dispute and the nature of the dispute. Makes explicit procedures required of both parties once a dispute is registered. Makes provisions for, inter alia, time extensions, witnesses, and supporting documents. Includes forms for use in registration, summons, contempt proceedings and by the Registrar. Adds additional provisions on documentary exhibits, collective agreements, the registration of references and dates of hearings. Revokes the Industrial Court (Procedure) Rules 1976 (S.R.O. 24/1976), the Industrial Court (Procedure) (Amendment) (Rules) 1977 (S.R.O. 6/1977), and the Industrial Court (Procedure) (Amendment) Rules 1978 (S.R.O. 51/1978).
