Résumé/Citation: Provides for the establishment and constitution of an Industrial Court in order to deal with labour disputes and to make provisions relating to the Industrial Court as are deemed necessary. Part One makes provisions regarding the establishment, jurisdiction and procedures of the Court. It makes explicit the powers of the Court and the interpretation of Court orders, awards and collective agreements. Part Two sets out regulations on trade dispute procedures. Part Three deals with lockouts and strikes. It prohibits strikes or lockouts during hearings and sets conditions under which a stop order on strikes and lockouts may be issued for reasons of national interest. It also makes it an offence to contribute financially to promote or maintain a strike deemed contrary to the Act. It sets penalties for such offences. Part Four makes provisions on the enforcement and duration of awards. Finally, Part Five makes general provisions for time limits on complaints, the liability of officers of companies and for the institution of additional regulations.
