Abstract/Citation
Provides general policy guidelines concerning work of dock workers. Under this Act, a scheme for ensuring regular employment of workers may be enacted. Also makes provision for establishment of advisory committees and dock labour boards. The latter shall be composed of representatives of the Government, the dock workers, and the employers of dock workers and shipping companies.
