Amends ss. 4 (exclusion from right to benefit; definition of unemployed entrepreneur), 6 (conditions for right to unemployment benefit), 7 (conditions for continued right to such benefit), 8 (conditions in case of parental leave, stay abroad for accompanying spouse and vocational training), 14 (exclusion of certain days during the compensation period) and 28 (applicability of s. 26 (1-3) in training activity). Adds subsections 3 (a) (conditions for continued application of the Act during 1998) and (b) (payment of benefits to elderly unemployed).
