| Résumé/Citation: | Amends ss. 4 (trainee and persons excluded from benefit under Act No. 371 of 1973 are not entitled to unemployment benefit; unemployed entrepreneur), 6 (conditions for right to unemployment benefit), (7) (conditions for continued right to such benefit), 8 (exclusion of period due to parental leave or to stay abroad for accompanying spouse), 14 (exclusion of certain days during compensation period), 20 (daily cash benefit; calculation and components), 23 (exclusion of certain spare-time occupation in calculating daily cash benefit), 31 (applicability of s. 29 (1-3) to employment policy activities and to training), and 57 (financial rules). Adds subsections 3 (a) (conditions for continued application of the Act under 1998) and (b) (payment of benefits to elderly unemployed). |
