| Résumé/Citation: | Amends provisions of the South African Citizenship Act regarding citizenship by descent and citizenship of persons who were citizens of another state. Empowers the Minister of Home Affairs to exempt South African citizens from deprivation of citizenship when making use of passport facilities of another country, and to grant naturalisation in exceptional circumstances to an applicant who does not meet ordinary requirements. |
