Résumé/Citation: Obliges State parties not to use, produce, or develop anti-personnel landmines, and obliges them to destroy existing stockpiles of landmines. States shall also undertake the destruction of mines in mined areas under their jurisdiction. Provides for international assistance in demining activities, including assistance for the care, rehabilitation, and social and economic reintegration of mine victims (Art. 6(3)).
