Foreigners who have been given permission to live and work in the Netherlands and who, because of their status as refugees or otherwise, do not have access to sickness/health insurance from their home country, are herewith given the opportunity to obtain such insurance benefits. This decree amends the Designation Decree Obligatory Insured Sickness Fund Act ("Aanwijzingsbesluit verplicht-verzekerden Ziekenfondswet").
