Part III covers safety matters in relation to machinery, fumes, vapours, boilers, and prevention of fire. Part IV regards employee welfare (washing facilities, first aid); Part V contains special provisions regarding health, safety and welfare. Part VI requires employers to notify inspectors of serious employment accidents and cases of industrial diseases.
