Part I covers registration of factories, Part II covers health matters, including hygiene, overcrowding, lighting, and ventilation. Part III covers safety matters in relation to machinery, fumes, vapours, boilers, and prevention of fire. Part IV regards employee welfare (washing facilities, first aid); Part V contains special provisions regarding health, safety and welfare. Part VI requires employers to notify inspectors of serious employment accidents and cases of industrial diseases.
