Provides for co-operation in social security matters among Caribbean Community states. Part II stipulates that persons shall be subject to the social security legislation of only one contracting party to the Agreement, and sets forth provisions governing social security benefits for persons employed in transnational enterprises, itinerant employees, seafarers, and self-employed persons. Part III covers invalidity, old age, retirement, survivors' and disablement pension, and death benefit. Also provides for determination of benefits, totalisation of contribution periods, and payment of partial benefits. Part IV deals with the application of the Agreement. Heads of the Social Security Schemes of the contracting parties shall constitute a Committee which shall deal with administrative matters. This Part also governs application of the totalisation principle, submission of claims, determination of invalidity, medical examination, payment of benefits, and dispute settlement.
