| Résumé/Citation: | Amends the Mauritius Citizenship Act. Inter alia, amends s. 7(2), stipulating that non-citizens who marry citizens of Mauritius may become citizens if they have lived with their spouse under the same conjugal roof for 4 years. Also allows certain persons who lost their Mauritian citizenship because they were also nationals of another country to regain Mauritian citizenship. |
