Résumé/Citation: | In Section I (General Provisions), defines the wage, wage structure and minimum wage. With regard to State regulation of the payment of wages (Section II), provides for conditions for determining the amount of minimum wage and the order of establishing and reviewing it. As for contractual regulation, it shall be carried out on the basis of a system of agreements concluded at the State, branch, regional and production levels (Section III). Protection of the workers' rights in this matter are dealt with in Section IV: wages are paid to workers regularly by the deadlines established in the collective contract, but not less frequently than twice a month; restrictions on the worker to freely dispose of his wages are prohibited; workers shall be informed of the conditions governing the payment of wages when entering a labour contract.
