These are consolidating regulations which revoke the Social Security (Adjudication) Regulations 1986 and re-enact provisions taking account of the consolidation effected by the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and the Social Security Administration Act 1992 and the changes made by the Social Security (Incapacity for Work) Act 1994. Part I provides for interpretation of the Regulation, Part II and Schedule 2 contain provisions common to the proceedings of all the adjudicating authorities, both medical and non-medical. Part III makes provisions for each of the various adjudicating authorities. Parts IV and V relate to particular benefits or procedures and to transitional provisions and revocations. |
