Part I: Principles of the Social Order and Political System of Ukraine
Part II: The State and the Individual. Chapter 5 provides for equality before the law, "regardless of origin, social or property status, race or nationality, sex, education, language, attitude to religion...". Chapter 6 addresses fundamental rights and duties of citizens. It guarantees, inter alia, the right to work, to rest and leisure, the right to health care, to "material support in old age and in sickness" and to education and the right to unite in public parties. With regard to freedoms, provides for freedom of speech, of the press and of assembly.
