Second Region

Subsidies can be obtained for employment of supplementary personnel appointed by the Manpower Division. The persons shall have been unemployed for at least six consecutive weeks, and employing them shall lead to staff increases in the company. The employer shall not have laid off any employee during a four-month period before making the request. The subsidy can only be obtained for a period of four months, and if other subsidies are given, it can only be given up to a certain amount.
