| Résumé/Citation: | Provides that no period during which an officer has been absent from duty on leave without salary shall be taken into account as pensionable service unless (a) such leave is granted on grounds of public policy with the approval of the President; or (b) the officer pays to the Government 25 per cent of the salary he would, as a serving officer, have earned but for his leave of absence. Made under the Pensions Act. |
