Second Region

Supersedes 1990 Regulations on the same subject. Private sector employers must provide a financial guarantee ranging from 150 to 250 Kuwaiti dinars per worker - depending on the size of the enterprise - which the Ministry may foreclose in full or in part if the employer commits a breach of labour law, particularly if he fails to pay his workers on time or fails to send them back to their country on expiry of their contract of employment.
