Decree of 5 March 1993, concerning rules about the protection of persons searching for a home and the division of a right to a building, in order to execute the Housing Act (Housing Decree).

Second Region

This Act protects those persons looking for a home who do not have any economic and social connection with the area where they would such as to establish themselves. No distinction shall be made for to economic and social connection for those persons looking for a home who cannot be expected that they can support themselves through labour, such as retired persons, disabled persons and long-term unemployed; those who wish to return to the Netherlands, but have not yet found suitable housing;those who have been admitted under the Foreigners Law as refugees, or because of humanitarian reasons or have been given a special establishment permit; those who because of divorce or separation are in urgent need of housing This Act also protects those looking for a home who because of their income are obliged to look for housing with a very low renting price.
