Second Region

Amends the first Schedule to the National Pensions Act in paragraph II by deleting item (a) and replacing it by the following - (a) (i) a public officer in respect of his functions as such; (ii) an employee of a local authority in respect of his function as such and which entitles him to a pension or a compassionate allowance under a pension law.
