Abstract/Citation
Schedule 1 amends the Social Security Act 1991 to incorporate amendments made in the Budget Sittings 1990. Schedule 2 contains minor amendments to the Social Security Act 1991. Schedule 3 sets out an agreement on social security between Australia and the United Kingdom. Schedule 4 sets out an agreement between Australia and New Zealand providing for reciprocity in matters relating to social security. Schedule 5 coordinates the social security systems of Australia and Malta.

This Act takes effect immediately after the Social Security (Rewrite) Transition Act 1991 and the Social Security (Job Search and Newstart) Amendment Act 1991 commences.
