Second Region

This Act gives effect to the Geneva Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees and the Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees. Chapter III provides favourable treatment for refugees in employment matters, and Chapter IV generally provides for treatment similar to that enjoyed by nationals in respect of rationing, housing, public education, public relief, and labour legislation and social security.
