| Résumé/Citation: | The Act make provisions for the care, protection and assistance to children, and to provide for matters related thereto. It implements the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It includes protection of children who have been trafficked, in cases of forced labour and slavery as well as child labour, in respect of a child under the age of 16. |
