| Résumé/Citation: | For the purpose of harmonizing Cypriot legislation with the Directive 2013/32/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 on common procedures for granting and withdrawing international protection, as amended and of better implementing the basic Law, the present Law (Amendment 2) introduces a number of amendments to the Law on Refugees (Laws of 2000 to 2016) with regard to the procedure of asylum application, to the procedure of the examination thereof and to the principles governing the above mentioned procedures before the Asylum Service and the Administrative Court. |
