Abstract/Citation
The part time worker must be an Omani national and a person who is a job seeker.
Those who are 16 years of age may work part time but only between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm.
The maximum daily hours shall be 4 hours per day.
The minimum hourly salary shall be 3 OMR per hour.
Employers may not employ more than 10% of its workforce on part time working hours.
There are 14 listed activities in which employers may
employ part time workers. These include retail, hotels
and restaurants, travel and tourism, money exchanges,
medical services, education services, and drivers.
