Abstract/Citation: Amends the following provisions of the GN No. 46/2007 with respect to the change in management from the Batam Industrial Development Authority to the Batam Free Trade Zone and Free Port Zone Management Board:
Article 1(2) - redefines the Free Trade Zone and Free Port Zone.
Article 2 - Inserts new articles 2A (responsibilities of Head of the Management Board of the Batam Free Trade Zone and Free Port Zone), 2B (Concerns appointment, development, retirement of employees of the Batam Free Trade Zone and Free Port Zone Management Board), 2C (assets of the Management Board), 2D (financial arrangements) and 2E (organizational structure and working mechanisms)
Article 3 - Adds two more paragraphs (3) and (4) (definition of terms of service for Management Board employees).
Article 5 - Inserts new article 5A concerning status of regulation/decisions issued by the Batam Industrial Development Authority and the Batam Free Trade Zone and Free Port Zone Council which shall remain in force provided they do not contradict and/or have not been set forth in new implementation regulations based on this Government Regulation.
