Abstract/Citation
Makes numerous amendments to the principal Law:
- new word for article 1 concerning the definition of 'trade Unions';
- amends the title of article 6 to "Cooperation of State Management and Control (Supervision) Bodies and Trade Unions";
- amends article 9 concerning the relation between Belarus Legislation and International Law;
- changes the wording of article 11(2) concerning rights to housing and social protection and adds a new paragraph 3 on the same subject;
- article 12 is amending concerning trade unions rights with respect to the privatization of state owned enterprises;
- amends article 13(4) and (5) concerning trade unions rights with respect to the right to self determination and stopping work in the case occupational accidents and incidents;
- amends article 16 concerning the right of trade unions to exercise social control over the implementation of collective agreements (contract);
- amends article 18(2) concerning supervision of trade unions with respect to health care in certain circumstances;
- amends article 19 concerning the rights of trade unions to supervise the implementation of labour and trade union Legislation;
- amends article 21 concerning the rights of trade unions in the field of education;
- amends article 24(6) concerning disciplinary procedures brought against members of trade unions;
- amends article 27 concerning assets of trade unions;
- also introduces minor wording changes in articles 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13,15, 23, 24, 27 and 28 of the Law.
