Abstract/Citation: It amends and complements Presidential Decree 281/1996 which adapts the national legislation to the provisions of the Directive 93/103/EC of the Council of 23 November 1993.

Article 1: Replacing art. 1 of the P.D. 281/1996 concerning the purpose of the law.
Replacing para 1 of Art. 3 of P.D. 281/1996 concerning the responsibility of ship owners and captains.
Replacing art. 8 of P.D. 281/1996 concerning the information provided to workers.
Replacing art. 9 of P.D. 281/1996 concerning the training skills of workers.
Replacing art. 11 of P.D. 281/1996 concerning consultation with and participation of workers.
