Abstract/Citation: Includes definition of crimes, penalties, security measures, court ruling, and specifies types of crimes, inter alia, crimes against humanity and human dignity, crimes against life and body, crimes against human rights and fundamental freedoms, crimes against work relations and social security etc.

Upon entry into force of this law the following shall be repealed or amended:
- Penal Code No. 110/97) and its amendments shall be repealed with the exception of the provisions of Article 84, 85 and 86 which will cease to have effect on the date of entry into force of a special law governing such communication;
- Law on crimes against the capital market (O.G. No. 152/08.);
- Article 160 of the Law on Execution of Sentences (O.G. No. 128/99 as amended);
- Article 31 of the Accounting Law ("Official Gazette" no. 109/07.);
- Article 188 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights (No. 167/03);
- Article 65 of the Law on Archives and Archival Institutions (No. 105/97);
- Article 49 of Law on medically assisted fertility treatments (No. 88/09);
- Articles 627 and 629 of the Companies Act (No. 111/93);
- Article 129(1), of the Law on Compulsory Health Insurance (No. 150/08), the previous paragraph 2 becomes paragraph 1;
- In the Energy Act (No. 68/01) in Article 33(1) the words "and without wasting energy or by measuring devices" shall be deleted.
