| Abstract/Citation: | Amends several provisions of the Regulations on Seafarers No. 24832 of July 2002 on Seafarers: Articles 4 para 1 (deckhand company), 5 para 1 (E) and (c) (fishing deckhand department rating), 8 (capacity document, job application, application form, etc. for deckhand level), 9 (job application, capacity documents, etc. for machinery level), 10 (conditions to fulfil for cooks), 11 (repeals first paragraph of this Article, para. 1 (b) (1)), 12 (applicable conditions for fisherman level), 14 (para. 1 (e) on long-distance journey), 22 (adds a paragraph on the obligation to renew the requested documentation every five years), 30 (adds a new para after the first one on the examination commission for crew level), 32 para 2 (examination for chiefs of the crew), 43 (correction of the written and oral exams), 45 (exams for seafarers), 51 para 1a (annotation on the seafarers identity cards), 54 (procedure to follow to have foreign certificates validated in Turkey), 56 (its title), 81 (military service as seafarer).
