| Abstract/Citation: | Amends Articles 4 para 1 No. 61 (close coastal journey), 8 (conditions to be met to obtain the different status of seafarers with "deck grade"), 9 (conditions to be met to obtain the different status of seafarers with "engineers grade"), 17 para 1 (derogation of exams), 45 (remedial exams), 80 para 3 (issuance of certificates). Repeals the words "deck boy" mentioned in Article 5 para 1 no. A (a) and under point B (a) "wiper". Also replaces the words "previous regulation" by "Regulations on seafarers eduction, documentation, exam, job rotation, registration and equipment principles". It adds a temporary Article 8 (acquisition of seafarers status by deck boys). |
