Abstract/Citation: This Order amends the Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Safety) Ordinance so that the following United Kingdom rules shall no longer apply to Hong Kong: Merchant Shipping (Distress Signals and Prevention of Collisions) Regulations 1983; Merchant Shipping (Signals of Distress) Rules 1977; Merchant Shipping (Carriage of Nautical Publications) Rules 1975; and the Merchant Shipping (Automatic Pilot and Testing of Steering Gear) Regulations 1981. The Rules and Regulations have been replaced by Regulations made in Hong Kong.
