Second Region

The provisions for bringing a foreign women to work as a housemaid or a nanny are set in this Decree. The person who wishes to recruit the housemaid is to apply for her work permit. The migration office requests the approval of the political security office. In the first 15 days after entering into the country, the employer is to apply for a temporary residence permit for the employee. The employee is not allowed to change employers without the agreement of the Immigration Office. Syrian employers are not allowed to marry foreign housemaids or nannies.
